Such a great spot to have in Andersonville. I love getting the entree specials - great bang for your buck! With the chicken kabob entree you get hummus, pita, side salad, and a huge portion of 2 chicken kabob skewers with lots of rice for 13.99.
The hummus is addicting! So delicious, and the chicken and beef kabob are both so flavorful and juicy. Side salad is always a refreshing, crunchy addition to have.
Casual spot with very well done dishes and generous portions. Definitely recommend! -

the grill/restaurant is not worth your time. the food takes FOREVER! no matter the order. mine was babaghnouj & baklava. waited 20 god damn minutes! 2 "cooks" and the register guy. needless to say avoid. the pita wasnt warmed on the grill top! removed from bag, halved and served! what a freaking insult to mediterranean cuisine. i need to add the baklava is from another bakery...and again removed and served!
whomever(s) awarded the "Chicago's Best" viewer approved needs to be updated and removed.
i have no positive comments -

I have been coming here for a while and I recommend the following:
Falafels
Baba Ganouj
Tabouli
Gyros wrap
Chicken Shawarma wrap
The Kefta kabob wrap
The Schwafel - (shawarma and falafel)
The Beef Shawarma wrap -
Cherry O.
Wow the food here was so tasty and amazing. Best falafels I ever tasted. While you wait for your food, you can wander down to the attached market. Here I was able to buy homemade hummus, pita, and meat pies. I would definitely come back here.

One cold winter day, we were walking around the neighborhood, and boy, were we hungry!
Stopped by at the grocery section and picked up some hand pies, giardiniera, baklava, cumin, and saffron Turkish delights.
Asked the cashier if we could eat the pies at the restaurant side's tables, he said yes, and at that cozy 2-top table, we fell in love with their flavorful hand pies, spicy giardiniera (yay for olives!), and heavenly tender baklava.
Since then, we've shopped from them multiple times.
Love their hummus.
One of our favorite places in Andersonville.
Fyi - they do charge a fee for credit card use.
